TCF encourages children to pursue for higher education and believes that no child should ever be left behind in life due to his or her inability to avail opportunities that education offers.
TCF Alumni Program
TCF Alumni Fund offers financial assistance for higher education to students matriculating from TCF secondary schools. Additionally, the Program Coordinator also counsels these students on educational/professional decisions. Based on their academic performance in school, the students are awarded donor-funded scholarships. Their progress is kept track of and they are guided every step of the way from admissions, college entry tests to their choice of majors.
As of 2010, there is an average annual expenditure of around Rs.8,500/- per student studying in any government-run intermediate college (higher secondary school with classes 11th and 12th), which includes admission and tuition fee, miscellaneous expenses and examination fee. This can be donated as a one-time expense.
However, for professional colleges/universities and vocational training institutes the cost per student varies from college to college, and is also dependent on the students’ choice of academic course and duration of the studies (such as Medical School versus Bachelors in Arts). Donors have the option of setting up Endowment Funds, or paying through installments in order for the student to continue through university.

After having matriculated from TCF schools, the Alumni department arranges for TCF Career Counseling sessions for students. This program is aimed to provide guidance and advice to our matriculating students based on pre-designed formats.
TCF Career Counseling started in 2011 whereby 1000 students from Karachi, Hub, Lahore and Khushab were counseled. This year TCF has taken the initiative to reach out to 100% of our matriculating students. As such, we are in the process of covering 10 cities all over Pakistan. These include 1650 matriculating students from Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Khushab, Qasba Gujrat, Quetta, Hub, Dadu, Rashidabad and Dharki.
Volunteers undergo a comprehensive and vigorous training session where they are trained step by step such that at the end of the training they are ready to take on their role as counselors.
After the one on one session with the counselors, students are sent to a Career Fair where representatives from different universities and vocational training institutes set up stalls and provide information to the keen young students.
TCF is proud to have 5650 graduates, who are acquiring higher education from some of the prestigious institutes of Pakistan.
Some of these institutes are DOW University of Health Sciences
IBA, IoBM , SZABIST, FAST, IBM- UET, Lahore, NED, National Textile University, Faisalabad, Karachi University, Bahria University and IQRA University
